There are many factors.
My exit strategy for short term is generally if the stock idea breaches 20 week EMA then I exit.
For long term, I study the fundamentals of the company, track their performance on QoQ results, follow on what the company is doing on social media and be updated to see the progress. Also, if the stock idea breaches the 40 Week EMA on the chart then I exit.
